By accessing or using MetadataRemoves ("the Service"), available at metadataremoves.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

MetadataRemoves is a web-based utility providing client-side image metadata sanitization (including EXIF, GPS coordinates, IPTC, and XMP tags), metadata container inspection, and social media canvas aspect ratio formatting. All image operations occur strictly in your device's local browser environment without uploading files to remote servers.

3. Free Daily Allowance, Paid Subscriptions & Fees

MetadataRemoves provides both free and paid service tiers:

• Free Allowance: Registered accounts receive a complimentary allowance of 2 free image cleanings per calendar day (resetting daily at midnight UTC).
• Paid Subscriptions & One-Time Upgrades: Users requiring higher volume or unlimited processing may purchase paid access (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime access). Current pricing is displayed during checkout and in your dashboard.
• Payment Processing: Charges are processed securely via third-party billing providers (such as Stripe). Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future recurring charges at the end of your prepaid period.

4. User Ownership & Intellectual Property

You retain complete, exclusive ownership and copyright of all images you process with MetadataRemoves.

Because our architecture is 100% client-side, MetadataRemoves does not store, host, copy, transmit, or claim any rights, licenses, or ownership over your visual content or photographs.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use MetadataRemoves only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or impair the website or its infrastructure.
• Use automated bots or scrapers to generate unnatural traffic or manipulate advertising systems.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

6. Third-Party Advertisements (Google AdSense)

MetadataRemoves may feature advertisements served by Google AdSense and third-party advertising networks. The presentation of ads does not imply an endorsement of any advertised product, service, or company. Users interact with third-party advertisements at their own discretion and subject to the respective advertiser's terms and policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

MetadataRemoves is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

While MetadataRemoves utilizes rigorous parsing algorithms to strip EXIF, GPS, IPTC, and XMP metadata segments and re-encode raster pixels via HTML5 Canvas, we cannot guarantee that every proprietary or custom vendor tag embedded in every obscure file format will be eliminated in all circumstances. Users should utilize our built-in Metadata Inspector to audit output files when handling highly sensitive materials.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MetadataRemoves, its operators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service or inability to use the service.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of MetadataRemoves following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
